Wireless Packet Info - RX/TX Errors
From DD-WRT Wiki
Wireless Packet Info
Example:
Received (RX) 72824 OK, 36413 errors Transmitted (TX) 30792 OK, 1 errors
How can one avoid all this errors?
- Do a site survey under Status->Wireless and find out what channels in your area are NOT being used and set it in your Wireless Basic configuration.
- Selecting an unused channel works. But one must choose a channel that is two channels (10Mhz) separated from the the adjacent occupied channel. There was still interference with one channel separation.
- The bottom line is that the high RX error rate is due to radio interferences from the neighboring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cordless phones in the 2.4Ghz band. If this is happening to your AP, you may want to tweak the channel, bluetooth coexistence mode, or both.
