I believe this will work by using ff:ff:ff: etc. in the mac entry instead of using the actual mac of the machine. At least it does on mine.
Yes - the point is to send a broadcast to wake up the computer; because the arp table will be empty when the computer goes to sleep.
I found that I had to do the ADD first, then the CHANGE - Jake.
