-I needed to temporarily give my PC a static IP address, as the DHCP daemon wasn't working properly upon initial flash. I then reset to factory defaults via the UI (for some reason the reset button for 30 seconds didn't help) and enabled DnsMasq.+

-The DHCP settings after the upgrade and before the factory reset, were totally bogus. The starting IP address was something like 192.168.10.192.168.10+

-I'm still not sure if I should be keeping the Antenna settings as Auto or only right. I've read there is an internal antenna. Changing to left does reduce the SNR as opposed to Auto or Right. So don't know if there is a gain over using Auto versus Right.+

-:It couldn't be anything like 192.168.10.192.168.1.10, unless the dhcp daemon was busted.... or you were using windows 98 (seriously, that's the only time i saw a fscked up IP address like that) [[User:Starblazer|Starblazer]] 05:35, 26 Jan 2006 (CET)+

-That's what the firmware UI screen showed.+

-I just did a "Factory Reset" using the UI and it deleted the MACs. I did NOT use mtd to erase the nvram, as it is warned not to do. The hardware notes says that the firmware should protect the MAC for the WR850G. I created a ticket.+
-In the mean time, I used the MAC cloning screen and manually re-added the MACs from the bottom of the router.+
