[edit] Disable Wireless

  1. You must disable wireless during almost any firmware upgrades. Simply logging off your wireless will not work.
    1. Go to Network Connections (Vista: Control Panel->Network and Internet -> Network Connections).
    2. Double click on Wireless Internet Connection and hit Disable at the bottom of the screen.
