ONLY the version 1 model is supported. Version 2&3 are not supported as of yet.

This router only uses k26 builds and ALL flashing must be with a build with k2.6 in the name.

  • Read the [1] peacock announcement at the start of the broadcom forum. Read it all. Carefully.

Installation:

  1. There are two versions available. One is for [2]Netgear branded routers and the other is for [3]Cablevision routers.
  2. Do a factory reset and upgrade to the firmware above, it will complain about downgrading but just hit allow.
  3. DONE!
  4. To gain functionality of the usb port, upgrade to the [4]big version after flashing the mini version above.

Uninstallation:

  1. Download official firmware [5]
  2. Factory Reset DD-WRT
  3. Enable telnet under services
  4. Telnet to router (192.168.1.1)
  5. Issue the command "mtd erase linux" & wait ~3 mins
  6. tftp the official firmware to the router
    • tftp for windows [6] enter router ip, leave password blank, select official firmware file
  7. 30-30-30 reset router
