- B. Scroll down to find the latest version (Tested with: 2007 - 0530 from May 5th, 2007)
- C. Download: dd-wrt.v24_wrt300n.bin
- D. Keep the downloads page open as you may or may not need it.
- 2. Open up Internet Explorer (Firefox 2.0.0.4 did not work for me, unfortunately)
- A. Navigate to your router's web GUI (default location: http://192.168.1.1)
- B. Write down/Copy+Paste any settings you may want to keep (e.g. MAC addresses for MAC filtering)
- C. Reset the router to its factory defaults
- D. Navigate to Firmware Upgrade and select dd-wrt.v24_wrt300n.bin in the file browser
- E. Initiate the upgrade
- 3. If you have any issues with the firmware upgrade failing:
- A. Download the mini version of DD-WRT beta version 24 (Repeat step one above and download dd-wrt.v24_mini_wrt300n.bin instead).
- B. Repeat step 2 for installing the mini version.
- C. Upgrade to the full version (if you wish)
