You are here: DD-WRT wiki mainpage / LaFonera / Hardware / Logo-Removal

This info has been added as I've seen a few people trying to remove logos from the Fonera using kinda bad methods and clearly failing miserably.

Note that this method has not actually been tested and judging by other people's results on other plastic material, it may not work too well but is probably better than sandpaper / drills / god knows what...

Anyway, basically, apply sugar to logo area and rub it in. You can view more details at http://www.instructables.com/id/EFHU5V6TKYERIE2SMP/ where the method is tested on metal phone covers, not the plastic Fonera cover, but it's worth a try if you're gonna remove it anyway.

Another method is to use 600 grit sandpaper to remove most of the logo, and then use Brasso to restore the shine. Be careful and avoid the text around the indicator lights!
