Warning

As of December 2020 we have noticed that a lot of TP-Link Hardware is showing a warning on their firmware updates: Note: You will be unable to downgrade to the previous firmware version after updating this firmware.

It would appear that TP-Link is locking down the firmware from third party firmware. As a precaution, we recommend avoiding any new stock firmware upgrades that might contain this note as you may not be able to flash a third party firmware again.
