Initial Flash
Prerequisites
- Download the asus_rt-ac88u-firmware.trx file from the asus-rt-ac88u folder.
- NOTE: You may optionally use the asus_rt-ac88u-firmware.trx file from the experimental_driver folder under theasus-rt-ac88u folder.

- Download and Install the ASUS Firmware Restoration Tool version 2.1.0.3 from the Asus Support Website (direct link)
- Optional: Download abnd Install the ASUS Device Discovery Tool version 1.4.8.3 to discover the IP of your router if unknown (direct link)

Prerequisites
- Download the asus_rt-ac88u-firmware.trx file from the asus-rt-ac88u folder.

- Initial Flash: It is recommended to install the .trx build file with the ASUS Firmware Restoration Tool.
- Upgrade: Flash from GUI, but research builds first, and see here for more info.

Build Size Limit
The linux mtd partition is 62.0 MB, however, the CFE limits flash size to ~27 MB.
