Introduction

Despite previous postings that Afterburner (dubbed "Speedbooster" by Linksys) only works on the GS models, this speed-enhancing feature is available on WRT54G models as well as the WRT54GS models. It is hardware independent. Speedbooster will only improve speeds when used with clients that also use speedbooster; use with "normal" 802.11g clients will actually lower performance.
