[edit] Table and v23
I think we should redo the table, with two seperate ones with v23 and v24, probably a very unwritten confusing aspect of the file versions.--whiteboy 07:32, 13 Oct 2006 (CEST)
I'm pretty new to the project so please pardon me if I'm a bit dense, but: is it now the case that the feature table does not correctly correlate to what's actually in the various distributions? My *very* limited exposure to this thus far is that 23sp2's VPN variant does not in fact contain chillispot or nocat support, though it does support something called "Sputnik". Thing is I'm not sure if I've just messed something up w/ the installation or if those features really are misstated in the table.--Daveparker01 00:44, 22 Mar 2007 (CET)
[edit] Feature List Suggestion
How about something to show which features are not stock features (or generally aren't stock features)? And it would also be nice to have a brief explanation of every feature, something where dummies can figure out if it's a feature that concerns them.
How about a poll somewhere where users can rank the most important extra features? Why do people use DD-WRT? -- AycheKay
I'll see what I can do. I'm currently in the process of reorganizing and structuring the wiki, and I will try to do this as well as it seems like a good idea. -- Interex 19:30, 29 Sep 2006 (CEST)
Definately there should be a short paragraph of main DD-WRT differentiators. Like
DD-WRT is better from [The Competitor] because it has better [That Feature]. On the
other hand it is also better from [2nd Main Competitor] because [Key Reason].
C'mon such statement is the key point for technical people to bother to even download DD-WRT.

The File Versions table does not print very well. It is truncated down the right hand side. If this could be fixed that would be great. I would, but don't know how and don't want to mess it up. Thanks --Audibiturbo 21:50, 15 Feb 2007 (CET)
[edit] Please add link to download
Please add a link on "download" page to the versions table (i.e. mini, micor, standard ... etc), so people can see and choose which to download. Also warn to install "mini" first, with link to installation procedures.
[edit] Feature / Category Table
This table is confusing. Why have wiki categories in a table in the middle of the page? IMO either create pages for each feature and add the category there, or add all the categories to the Glossary page that they're on, or just leave the categories out.

Guys u MUST state the platform u writing your info for! right now it only confuses users! also it must be more light/slim. right now a noob wont find anything and will be overwealmed by info (he propably wont need). it would be (maybe ) more helpful to splitt the general info into the different platforms.
